By: secretogolf. on 27 Apr 11, 18:52:24 @watertonrivers Yes and the hip rotation happens naturally once there has been weight transfered to the front foot.The way so many instructor are teaching hip rotation is wrong.The legs have to move first and rotate then the hips.Other wise you have a huge spin out.Even Tiger in his slomo in The Nike commercial is facing the ball maybe 10 degrees? open then the hips fininish,ball gone.Don't get me wrong it starts fron the ground up but the shoulders and back seem to have been left out too often.

Now, I realize alot of pros have great? athleticism when it comes to returning square, but the vast majority of them lift the right foot before impact and also spin the hips to quickly as well, which makes for a lot of difficulty staying on plane.
