LOL- Phil Mick. I have never had such a response! All I am saying is you should ask yourself- why did we go to Iraq? Why did these planes crash into the WTC? Why are there terrorists? These are important questions- otherwise you will not understand why your troops are sent out to to die- is it for America or is it? in the name of greed and imperialism?

Even if you are a proud American you shouldn't defend it if you know what it did was wrong. Americans should be a leading example in sportsmanship, precisely because you are a superpower- unfortunately this wasn't the case in these celebrations. For me a proud American, should be able to criticize their own athletes, their own government, their own foreign policy- not BLINDLY ACCEPT IT- which most people unfortunately do. Are you an emotional, stupid patriot or are you a? smart one?
Highlights aired on NBC shortly after the conclusion of the '99 Ryder Cup, won by the United States 14.5-13.5 over Europe with a thrilling final day comeback.
